Nurofen Plus

Nurofen plus is a strong fast acting pain relief medicine. Nurofen plus contains a unique combination of two clinically proven pain relieving ingredients. Each nurofen plus tablet contains 12.8mg of codeine and 200mg of ibuprofen that together help work at the site of pain and reduce the body’s response to pain signals. Nurofen plus also helps reduce inflammation and swelling that can occur at the site of pain. Nurofen plus is recommended for those times when you need powerful relief in treating migraine headaches, tension headaches, back pain, dental pain, period pain, headache, neuralgia, muscular pain, rheumatic pain and arthritic pain. Directions:

Adults and children over 12 years of age: Take an initial dose of 2 Nurofen Plus tablets with fluid. Then take 1 or 2 tablets every 4 hours when necessary. Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours.

Nurofen Plus is not to be taken by children under 12 years of age without the consent of a medical professional.

Do not take Nurofen Plus if you have a stomach ulcer or other stomach disorders, kidney or heart problems. Do not take Nurofen Plus if you are allergic to any of its ingredients, including ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatory medicines, codeine or other opioid analgesics, or aspirin. Most asthmatics can take Nurofen Plus but do not take this product if you are sensitive to aspirin or other NSAIDs. You should not take Nurofen Plus if you are pregnant or breast-feeding except under medical supervision. If you are currently taking other medications, or are unsure about any of these restrictions, then check with your doctor or pharmacist before you commence using Nurofen Plus. Keep out of the reach of children. Carefully read packaging for any other possible restrictions. Nurofen Plus may cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol.
