Codalgin

Codalgin is a powerful pain reliever designed to help you combat acute pain fast. Each Codalgin tablet is a combination of two fast acting ingredients paracetamol and codeine. Codalgin fights pain on two fronts, targeting not only the actual site of the pain but also the pain sensors in the brain helping to dull sharp pain. Codalgin does not contain a calmative agent so can also be taken at any time of the day or night and is less likely to cause drowsiness allowing you to get on with your life.

Codalgin is available in packets of 100 tablets. Each tablet containing 500mg of paracetamol and 8mg of codeine. Codalgin should be used for the temporary relief of pain and discomfort associated with migraine, earache, period pain and rheumatic pain. Codalgin also reduces fever symptoms. Codalgin contains Gluten, but is Lactose and Sucrose free.

Directions:

Children over 12 years of age and adults: Take 1 to 2 tablets every 4-6 hours as necessary. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.

Children between 7 and 12 years of age: Take one-half to one tablet every 4-6 hours as necessary. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours. Do not administer for more than 48 hours without seeking medical advice. Codalgin is not recommended for children under 7 years of age.

Caution:

Do not take Codalgin if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. You should not take Codalgin if you are pregnant or breast-feeding except under medical supervision. Prolonged use of Codalgin without medical supervision may be harmful. If symptoms persist, see your doctor. If you are currently taking other medications, especially those that contain paracetamol, or if you are unsure about any of the restrictions, then check with your doctor or pharmacist before you commence using Codalgin. Keep out of the reach of children.
